HANDLING

We operate on an area of approximately 12,000 square metres, intended for the storage of goods in digitised warehouses, located at Via del Macello 21 at Piani di Bolzano, in an optimal position in relation to the main urban and extra-urban traffic junctions. The procedures for the introduction and removal of goods vary according to the type of product family, size, and weight of the products. The handling of goods is entrusted to qualified personnel who follow precise criteria for the management of warehouse flows. The main activities within our structure:

Introduction: acceptance and document management - unloading carriers, control and verification of packaging and/or quality according to agreement, warehousing, sorting, storage of goods.

Extraction: order composition, picking and processing, quantity control, carrier loading.

INTEGRATED LOGISTICS

Magazzini Generali in Bolzano provides logistics, goods storage and customs services. Thanks to the availability of cold stores within the facility, all operations related to the storage of perishable and non-perishable foodstuffs are also performed at the plant, such as: receiving, picking, various order processing for third parties. Our organisational process guarantees efficient and optimised management of the flow of goods.

We offer flexible customised logistics solutions, such as transit point services, in cooperation with local transport operators. We therefore act as a collection and distribution point for goods by forming incoming and outgoing loads for companies that want to focus on their core business.

In particular, we offer micro-logistics services that give even small companies and artisans, who have a small amount of materials and/or a small size of items to handle, the opportunity to grow their business with the same logistics network as large companies.

ORDER PROCESSING AND PICKING

The preparation of orders is entrusted to selected and qualified personnel who are able to cope with all customer needs.

Processing takes place according to customer-specified criteria and following FIFO (First In, First Out) or FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.

Our main activities are: picking - sorting - palletising - packaging - labelling - display set-up.
